This is a fun technique which can be used to create an abstract stand-alone image or when combined with another image file (usually the original) to produce a pleasant harmonious fusion.

The method can be varied in a number of ways.  Once you have the basic idea, experiment with amounts of 'zoom' using Radial Blur', 'Twirl', Blend Mode and Transform options.

The name 'Zwirl' has been coined by me to express the combination of a 'zoom' and a 'whirl'.
